Campfire Audio CP622B TI: The Unboxing
Next up is the Campfire Audio CP622B TI, the ultimate limited edition of their highly-regarded CP series. I acquired this from Landstar, the exclusive distributor for Southeast Asia.

The packaging is elegant; even the display case is premium. Before CanJam, some people expressed concerns that the actual product might not live up to the photos. I was apprehensive, having pre-ordered it back in April.

Build Quality and Aesthetics
Let's talk about the build quality. These IEMs are stunning. The finish is impeccable; no fingerprint magnets here! The 622B design is clever and absolutely gorgeous.

However, there’s a design flaw. The included cable is a let-down, particularly considering the premium shells and price point. It doesn’t match the overall quality; I’ve swapped it for a higher-quality option.

Sound Quality: Low-End Performance
The CP622B TI features a unique tuning compared to the original CP622B, with a reduced bass emphasis. Despite this, low-frequency performance is actually quite excellent.

808 drops and other low-end hits are handled well; it delivers a nice rumble without being overwhelming or muddying the mix. It provides a very clean and accurate low-frequency reproduction.

Sound Quality: Mids and Highs
Moving to the midrange, vocals are exceptionally clear, clean and well-presented. There's a great sense of detail and resolution; subtle nuances in the mix are easily discernible.

The treble is where things get interesting. While initially stunning and detailed, prolonged listening at higher volumes can lead to some listener fatigue. However, this is mitigated at lower volumes.

Overall Impression and Conclusion
The Campfire Audio CP622B TI is a fantastic set of IEMs. It offers a premium build, stunning aesthetics, and excellent sound quality in the mids and lows. However, the stock cable is a disappointment, and treble fatigue at high volumes is a potential concern.

Overall, despite a few minor drawbacks, this IEM excels in many aspects. The build is exquisite, the midrange is captivating, and the low-end is precisely rendered. It trades blows with much more expensive options.
