This review examines the Bigme Wireless Microphone set and the Bigme Foldable Keyboard, assessing their value and usability for budget-conscious consumers. Both devices promise convenient portability and functionality, making them attractive options for content creators, vloggers, and tablet users. However, our evaluation will reveal whether these budget-friendly devices deliver on their promises or fall short due to design limitations and performance issues. We'll delve into the microphone's audio quality, range, and battery life, along with the keyboard's typing experience, connectivity, and overall build. The review will cover key features and shortcomings of both products, providing a comprehensive assessment of their strengths and weaknesses. We will analyze the microphone's noise cancellation, the impact of its proprietary connection, and the keyboard's lack of a wired mode and touchpad. Ultimately, we aim to determine if these Bigme products offer a worthwhile balance of affordability and practical functionality or if their limitations outweigh their advantages.

Bigme Wireless Microphone: Dual-Mic Setup and Audio Quality
This Bigme wireless microphone set includes two clip-on mics and a single receiver. Each microphone boasts its own battery and connects to the receiver using a proprietary protocol, ensuring stable, high-quality audio transmission without the usual Bluetooth audio degradation. The dual-microphone setup provides a backup if one mic runs out of battery (around 6 hours of use).

A significant drawback is that the microphones cannot be used while charging; they stop working when the power adapter is connected. Despite this limitation, the 50m range and low latency (25ms) make them suitable for various applications, including vlogging and interviews. The three-point connector suggests the availability of charging cradles, though none was included in my review package.

Microphone Performance: Noise Cancellation and Background Noise
The microphones feature built-in noise cancellation. However, I found the audio quality significantly better with noise cancellation turned OFF. With noise cancellation on, there was noticeable electronic noise coming directly from the microphone's internal components, unrelated to the ambient environment. This noise persisted regardless of the power source (wall adapter, laptop, or smartphone).

The lack of a built-in windscreen is a notable omission. While this is easily remedied with an aftermarket windscreen, caution is needed as some designs may interfere with the clip mechanism, making it harder to attach the mics to clothing or equipment. This noise reduction issue is a significant drawback for the device's overall performance.

Bigme Foldable Bluetooth Keyboard: Design and Functionality
This Bigme foldable keyboard is a Bluetooth-only device, lacking a wired mode. It offers a compact design and uses Type-C charging which is preferable to older micro-USB alternatives. While the build quality is decent, it's a two-piece design, unlike some three-piece competitors which often include a touchpad. The lack of a touchpad requires reliance on the device's touchscreen for cursor control.

The keyboard has a comfortable key travel, making it pleasant to type on. However, it's a five-row keyboard without a dedicated function key row and designed for use on a flat surface; lap typing is difficult. The 40-hour battery life is impressive, and it remains usable even while charging.

Keyboard Shortcomings and Overall Impression
The lack of a wired mode is a considerable drawback, limiting usability during OS boot-up or in situations where Bluetooth connectivity is unavailable. Also, the hotkey configurations for switching input languages may not align with some Android keyboard apps (like Gboard).

Despite these minor shortcomings, both the Bigme wireless microphones and foldable keyboard offer decent value for their price. The microphones are particularly useful for content creators, while the keyboard is a convenient and portable option for tablet users. The significant noise from the microphone system, however, severely impacts its usefulness.
